  5. With copper prices soaring to unimaginable highs, alternative plumbing solutions are growing in popularity. It seems poor water quality too has made an impact on plumbing system design as well, for now public water and well water seem to degrade both copper and CPVC systems. If you are in the market for replacing those old, corroded and leaking water lines, make sure you do your homework when selecting a PEX replacement, not all PEX is created equal! For over 10 years now, we have been installing AquaPEX from Uponor (formerly Wirsbo) which offers an industry leading PEX-a product. Have a look at their brochure and see for yourself the difference in PEX options.
