Face it, everyone has stress and anxiety these days and with the economy not doing as well as in the past, we need an option other then spending a fortune at the spa. Find out what fits your needs best, jets that ease away sore muscles or soothing bubbles to calm the mind. Sterling offers the best of both worlds with their Lawson line! Bring the spa home to your master bathroom.
Freestanding baths seem to be the up and coming trend these days in any sort of bathroom remodel. They offer true “soaking” capability while an awe inspiring look to any space. These tubs are sure to meet the needs of any person, regardless of height leaving those bent knees and shoulders that once remained chilly in the bathroom air, immersed in the comfort of the warm water. These are definitely a new item on my “want” list!
Have a place in your home that you’ve always wanted a fireplace? Just found this website in a new magazine that could answer the question to that as well as provide a contemporary design on a classic style wood stove. Zero clearance fireplaces are difficult to come by, making them look good is even more impossible to find.
So, you’ve finished the basement and STILL don’t have enough space? Check out this great “modern” idea for an office, design studio or even yoga space. I need one but do not think my homeowner’s association would approve.

Since I began in the industry, I have installed close to 100 miles of radiant heat flooring for my customers. From the add-on addition, to the single bathroom all the way to the 30,000 square foot custom home, I have put tubing in all types of situations. Last year, my wife and I decided to change our lovely linoleum kitchen floor to a more modern and updated ceramic tile and it looks amazing! Sitting here typing this in my kitchen, my feet are now freezing with the heat loss associated with the tile and the unconditioned basement below. I have decided to add the comfort of “warm floors” to my house by installing the Uponor Joist Trak system in conjunction with a Laing EHR electric heater. I will keep you all posted with the installation process as well as with some photos. Time to start removing staples that are sticking below the subfloor so I can start hanging track!
